Breaking News Alert****

This Just In: I have some work to do! I was just catching up on some of my good friends' blogs and oh boy, are they nice! Not that mine will ever be as nice as theirs, but I've got to dress it up a little bit. I don't want to be the guy at their black tie dinner wearing a tuxedo shirt and cut off jeans. I mean sure, the tuxedo shirt is the perfect fit if you want to let people know "hey, I'm formal, but I still like to party", but sometimes it's just uncouth ya know what I mean??

So this is my pledge to you, David, Diana (I would pledge to you Justin, but I feel more than confident that it's your wife that is the ring leader on the blogging front), Deanna (same goes for you Brad), and any of my other friends that have blogs but haven't included me quite yet:
I will not be the homeless squatter at your "Blogging Soiree." Now it's going to take me a little time, so don't kick me out of the party just yet!

A fine example of Cinematic Excellence!!

So, the craziest thing just happened... I was driving home from my brother's house after a rousing game of Wits and Wagers with a few of my siblings, and I was thinking to myself "self...you know what a good movie is? Hot Rod! Now that's a great movie. You should buy it so you can have it on hand for all those times you are in a "Hot Rod" mood." After I finished my conversation with myself, I walked into my house and turned on the T.V as I started some laundry. And what just happened to be on the Tellie? That's right, Hot Rod!! It was at the end when Rod was making his final jump, but it's on again tomorrow night! I think we all know what my DVR is set for tomorrow....such a great movie...

Blogging is a lot like Orange Bell Peppers

Have you ever been in the grocery store, and get stuck as to which color bell pepper you should buy? I bought a yellow and a red bell pepper the other day. Green is so last century. Orange seems so nouveau riche. I feel the same way about blogs.
